| You are going to love Raphael. The Archangel is impressively more powerful than most the vamps we read about. Can't wait until you meet some of the seven. Please give reports!!! NS just sucks you in with her writing. I can see everything perfectly without a page of discription (I mostly hate that) I love this series If you haven't read it, READ IT! | |

| I don't like masses of description either, I just switch off. It's why I stopped reading Stephen King years ago. I like the way Karen Chance, Kim Harrison and Keri Arthur etc write with action from the get go. It does tend to leave me feeling exhausted though! | |

| No, Singh isn't excessively descriptive in either series. It isn't like LKH describing the clothing of all 20 people in the room and taking 5 pages to do it. And I concur with showme, you still have no problem seeing in your head what is going on. Singh does a good job of letting the reader use their own imagination. | |

| Oh yeah I forgot how LKH does that, the swoosh on Anita's Nikes always matched something else she was wearing - DO I CARE??? | |

| I actually got into a bit of a row with someone on my writing course because I dissed flowery poetic descriptions. But then she was someone who looked down at my genre and preferred something they call 'literary' I call it boring crap. | |

| Flowery prose can be distracting when I want to read a story. Poetry has never really been my thing though, and I think that's okay. When flowery prose is used I stop reading and begin to look for alliteration and rhymes. I like words too much. | |

| Aus seems to follow UK release in most books (especially kindle), unless it's insanely popular here, then it's same as US. Thankfully, there are awesome online bookstores like The Book Depository that have books on US release schedules and free shipping! | |

| I'm at the bit where Elena found the little cutie angel baby in Michaela's house. I know I'm a bad person, but I was glad the Elena wasn't wrong - Michaela was just too sure and I thought it might be a different kind of trap. Anywho - I LOVE THIS SERIES!! It is so fantastically awesome. Raphael phewie!!! Hawt!!! But I love Illium too - Bluebell | |

| You aren't bad, I felt the same way. Obviously, we don't want the kid hurt, but the vindication for Elena was wonderful. | |

| I still don't But I'm getting closer - there's nothing coming out in march after the first week is there? Right? (She askes, a little panicked). I recently got my friend hooked on the Guild Hunter series, and she's absolutely loving them. | |
