Ilona and Gordon are awesome at novellas and shorts. I'm picky about short stories, and how much I love novels by the same author isn't much of an indication of whether I'll like the shorts. But Ilona Andrews hasn't disappointed me yet.

Kevin Hearne's Two Ravens and One Crow comes out today too. I think I'm the only one here who reads Kevin's Iron Druid books, but I'm sooo excited about this novella.

Almost makes up for my 3-day weekend being over.

I don't read to many books written by males. I'll have to take a look at this series.

Dopple I'm working my way through this series. Reading Tricked at the moment. This is the first series I have read written by a guy in this genre. I find it quite refreshing. Oberon has me in stitches every time he comments on anything.

Oberon! We need an Irish Wolfhound smilie.
It is refreshing to read a male protagonist from a male author's POV. I especially like when Atticus is trying to keep himself in check around Grainy. (i gave up on the correct name!) Baseball, gotta think about baseball.

And The Mysterious Madam Morpho by Delilah Dawson! That's just a novella, but I'm excited about it.

I'm going to have to toss a coin to decide between Death's Rival and Death And The Girl Next Door. There'sno other way I could choose between them. I'll make Death's Rival tails for Beast.

October is going to be an awesome month!

I don't know if anyone reads World of the Lupi by Eileen Wilks but Mortal Ties comes out tomorrow.

I haven't heard of those, pc. Are they wolfy romances?

Yes, October is going to be an Awesome month. There is so many new relases coming out. Personally, I cannot wait for ICED!

Never heard of the PC I will have to look them up.

Waiting by the letterbox for Fury's Kiss and Death's Rival. Both not available on kindle so waiting game AGAIN! Lucky I have lots to keep me going in the meantime.

World of the Lupi series is pretty good. I'd give it a 4 out of 5.

It's a UF series centered around Rule and Lily. Rule is a shifter and Lily is his chosen. He, of course, did not get to pick her and neither one of them wanted it to happen. But over time, they grow to love each other and realize they are stronger together. Their love for each other doesn't happen overnight but over a few books. One of the things that I enjoy most is that Lily is a kick-ass heroine. She is a tiny thing but she doesn't take sh!t from anyone. There is an interesting cast of secondary characters also. This is one of those series that gets better with each book.
