Nearly done with book 2 and still not feeling the love really for either Mircea or Pitkin. Both have their plus and minuses, but then again I have just come off the brothers so my expectations may not have come back to normal yet

Sad for Mac, I was liking his character. Thou not in the sexy man for Cassie way.

Back from vacation, and I am sorry to report that I started book 4 but never got into the swing of it. I was alternating between The Fiery Cross on audio, and was reading Cassie at the beach. As usual no one let me read, and the tropical water kept sucking me out to sea. I promise that I will get back on the Cassie reading train again soon.

I am liking this book so far....few Chapters in... Started with Pritkin now TT with Mircea....wonder what is next. Love these two men. I wonder if Dory and LC will pop up at all in this one.

I'm like a 1/4- 1/3 in. Love it so far.

I didn't realize that Cassie still doesn't know who Dory is...LOL and Cassie fixing Prit's wound...LMAO...she so didn't get the noises. Loved the Mircea date and the exhibition...LMAO.

Still waiting for Pritkin to grow on me GP. Onto third book now.

GC, I'm a confirmed Mircea fan, but Pritkin grew on me in the last book. Not in any way enough to worry Mircea (yes, I know, he's not real!), but he has grown.

Finished but what a cliffhanger! When is the next one?

I like him. I feel bad for him. He obviously loves her, too...but I'm Mircea all the way...

spoilers for new book even if he had to be with the Consul under her command...then he wouldn't be so mad at Cassie for saving Pritkin...I do wonder if Pritkin has absorbed something from her and vice versa...and if she is a Mage/God and not human at all like I think, maybe that is the key to freeing Pritkin...rules wise....I just hope he doesn't have to sow his royal oats before she gets there...but him finding a demon gf wouldn't be so bad either...I always though he was a virgin before his wife...Who knew? I wonder if she will see her mom again in the past...or find her dad's soul.
