Chatbox Rules & How To

The Chatbox feature is a really fun part of our everyday forum and where we also host all our live chats with visiting Authors. Any and all are welcome, but we ask that you please be polite and respectful at all times. Listed below are the Rules & Instructions for the Chatbox.

Adm/Mods monitor the chatbox at all times



Chatbox Rules:

• Please be polite and respectful at all times

• Anyone using offensive talk/behavior will be warned and possibly banned if continues.

Live Chats with Autors:

• The chatbox allows you to change the color of your text. This helps break up the conversation when there are a lot of posters in it.

• Pace your questions for our writers and give them a chance to address them in a timely manner.

Be respectful to our writers at all times . Keep it fun !!!



How to log in & find the Chatbox:

• You must sign up and become a member to have access to the Chatbox.

• There are two places to locate Chatbox. The first is right above the topic threads. You may need to slide the scroll bar all the way to the right to access the Log-In tab. The second way is to scroll all the way to bottom of the forum. You will see a Join-Chat feature that will also show you who is currently logged into the chatbox. Just click the Join-in link and this will bring up another window with the Chatbox.

Please keep in mind that the chatbox is not a private space. Any registered member can log into it at anytime, scroll up, and see what was posted before they joined the chat. So please be respectful, and refrain from posting personal information or making rude comments about others.

As a general rule, if you don't want somebody else to 'overhear' it, then it doesn't belong in the chatbox.
