Finished Fool Moon (#2). I didn't like it as much as Storm Front, but it was still a lot of fun. Harry has such a great dry sense of humor, and I love that anything electronic breaks, sputters, sparks, or goes 'splody around him. It's oddly endearing.

I really thought Butcher was going to do an Incredible Hulk parody for a while - when Harry first meets the Loup-Garou, he's wearing nothing but jean cutoff shorts and has some paranormally bad anger management issues. roflmao I was honestly surprised he didn't have a green hue.
I liked the different types of werewolves in this book, but got hopelessly confused about how they all differed. I can normally follow this stuff, so either I was tired while I was reading or the explanation just didn't jibe with me. I think there were 3 different types, but then again Tera might have been a 4th type....? Hopefully it's not important info for future books because I'm not making the effort to figure it out.

My biggest complaint was that there wasn't enough Bob or naked Harry - both cracked me up to no end in Storm Front. What can I say? I find male public nudity hysterical. There was an awful lot of female public nudity in Fool Moon, but it's not the same! Overall I enjoyed it, and I can't wait to find out more about Harry's parents....I can tell there's a good plotline brewing about them.

It took me many books to appreciate the series and I do miss the lack on smexy. There is some just not much. Butcher is definately a sci fi buff and seems to know all variations of creatures and myths so in this series you will see Greek and Roman gods, vampires, were wolves/shape changers, loup garous, people into wolves using magic, skulls with souls stuck in them, knights of God, demons, witches/wizards, enchanted articles, a magical authority with hitmen, spells, fae, or any other possible myth you have ever read about plus more. After a while you start to get his nerdy humor and that is when you know you are addicted to the series. Some books are better than others. I wouldn't worry about all the different types of creatures. If they come back later, they are again explained in later books. I think in the beginning books there is a loup garou which is someone who has lost control and gone loup as a werewolf type thing. There are also people who use belts or some magical thing to change them into wolves and then I think are the kids whoo magically have been able to shapeshift themselves. Well that's what I rememebr off the top of my head. Not sure if I got that right. I read way too many conflicting series...LOL. Incrediable hulk and balls out...LOL. I think its funny becasue it is from aman's POV and one with no self confidence in teh beginning.
