| The Charioteer, is sitting on my desk.... right now! waiting, patiently for me to pick it up. "One Day" is becoming a bit of a mantra for me | |

| I have wanted to read it, too, Swede. Josh loves it, so I should read it. I read one of the Cambridge Fellows series. It was okay. Actually, it was probably much better than okay. I am sure that I gained IQ points (to steal a line from Dopple) by the time I finished. It was just a bit dated for me. I have a hard time with old movies, too. My bad. | |

| I remember. They all really talked about it at the time. Sigh. Let me know when you get ready to give it a shot. Maybe we can read it at the same time. Or.....maybe we could but it up for a group read sometime? It is supposed to be a big deal for the m/m writers. So many books...omg. | |

| One More Soldier by Marie Sexton. Wow!! This short story illustrates how much oomph you can pack into a small amount of words. You will cry. But damn, it is so worth the read. It is the Vietnam era, with a young guy that is drafted, and coming to terms with being gay in that difficult era for gay guys. A very hard, but beautifully worked story. | |

| I'm reading Blind Space by Marie Sexton. Kind of regency space with pirates. I'm really liking it. | |

| I finised Noble Metals by LA Witt. I know it's suppose to be steampunk but it's more steampunk lite! It's not heavy on details like with some others I've read. Short read with good characters and a little suspense. | |

| I would agree with that. It's got the feel of a western more than anything, to me. I did enjoy it but feel calling it Steampunk is a bit of a stretch. | |
