| Sabby! Your book reader is on the damn toilet. Thanks Swede. I'll go looking threw my list to see if I already have those. I do read a lot but in my defense my days are really boring and there's only so much cleaning and TV a person can watch. | |

| I used my free credit. It was $25. Do your public libraries have audiobooks? I like Matthew | |

| I know, Fae! I really loved it and was surprised. Usually any mention of witches and I run screaming for the exit! | |

| I just reached Chapter 10 and noticed my kindle said 18% I just realized how long this book is. I am absolutely thrilled that we get a little bit of Matthews POV. I don't think I'm far enough into the book yet for things to start happening. Right now there is so much world building and information going on but so far it's pretty interesting and from a few comments I've peeked at the books seems to get better. I will admit so far to me there's a lot of information going on and I'm having to take a break and read something other for a bit before I can jump back into this book. An I the only one that thinks that? | |

| Maybe during the first half of the book, I could have stopped. I was enjoying the book porn though - the esteemed Oxford libraries with access to the rare books. That's neat stuff.
I couldn't have put it down after that halfway mark though. It turns too romancy. And the book porn even continues! I'm still wondering if there is really a copy of 'Will's Plays' out there. I'd like to think there is. | |

| I'm too much of a sucker for a well built world to have put this book down even if it hadn't had all the cool literary and historical references. I liked it. | |

| Just hit 50%! DOW So, I am freaking out here. That guy showed up at Matthew's mothers house and told Diana about the whatever it's called where no Witches,Vampires or Daemons can be together. Matthew flipped out and he just left and she flipped out and started crying enough to flood the place. ( Above is how you know I'll never become a writer. I don't do the explaining thing so well.) As of last night I was only a little ways into this book but today I picked it up and within 2 chapters from where I was it took off for me and I have not wanted to put it down. I noticed it's a little Twilighty. Which is cool, sense I liked those books. I could not believe she just invited him to go to bed with her but I was most disappointed when he said no. I then remembered Dopple's No Boinking comment. I wish there was a little bit more from Matthew and some of the other's in the story. I would really like to get there POV on what is going on around them. Matthew dosen't diss her right? I really don't want him to turn into an asshole considering I like him so much.. I hope we get to meet her Aunts pretty soon. She really needs there help learning how to use her damn magic.. | |

| DOW Wow! Just getting to Chapter 32 and wish the night wasn't over. I could keep going. This book has started to get so good. It did take me a bit but now i couldn't stop if someone payed me. Diana was kidnapped and damn near killed. Matthew finally got her back and I was sitting on pins and needles the whole time waiting for him to find her. I was amazed when her mother was there with her telling her that story. Matthew was ment to be hers and vice versa. her mother binding her magic was something I didn't see coming. I really am loving this book. Can't wait to get back at it tomorrow. | |

| ADOW You are going to love Diana's aunts when you meet them, Starbrites! But you might just love the house they live in more. I was soo mad at Matthew for taking off. They should have called him back to clean up all the puddles. Ha! I forget the trick that Diana has to use in order to do magic. Is it that she can't think about it, it has to come from emotions? Ugh....it's not like I read the book that long ago. | |

| DOW Quick question before I forget. The tea Marthe and Diana made together, She is home at she is just about to make herself the tea but her Aunts are talking about reproducing and then she freaks a little about the tea and dumps it out. Why? I am a little confused. I did reread it of course and It says an herbal contraception but if vampires can't have kids why would Marthe be trying to prevent it? Am I wrong with my understanding? I hope someone can help me with this.. Oh, I just love her Aunts and the house! Her grandmother ghost and all. I just read this part Dopple. Her magic is tied to Mattew and her emotions towards her love for him. Yes, she seems to be able to use her magic easier when she is not thinking. I loved how she wonderd if there was more butter and then the fridge opened and gave it to her. I thought it was the house but it was her. She must just need to be relaxed and not pushing to have her magic work. Already this morning I am diving in. I am so caught up in what's going on. I did cry (of course I always cry. For some reason reading makes me emotional.) when she recieved the letter and page from her mother via the fireplace/house (FUNNY) I'm not thinking there going to resolve all of this in this first book so I am guessing it's setting up for the next one but then again I am only at 78% so it could all wrap up. Marcus is on his way and I am dying to know what he has to tell Diana that he wouldn't tell Matthew..

| ADOW I'm convinced that the herbal tea contraception will be important in Book 2. Marthe may claim that she lost her (paranormal) sight when she was turned, but I don't believe it. Besides, theres no point in using contraception if your husband isn't boinking you! Silly Marthe. | |

| I have finished! DOW Talk about a cliffhanger. Step into time and that is that. I am really worried about what Hammish had said to Diana. 1st he said that Matthew would be different. What the hell do you think he ment by that? 2nd he told her that where she was going she couldn't use a phone for help. Is Matthew going to change? Why is Hammish so worried about Matthew and Why did he really not want to tell her right away where they were going? I have lots of questions and I don't want to wait till July to read the second book. *Stomps Feet* This book really amazed me. I was so afraid at the begining that I was not going to like it but I fell in love with it. The House was the best! Right now, I am just a little high strung which always happens to me when i finish a book that has more to the story and I am not able to read it right away. Now I need to go through the thread reading what everyone else wrote. | |
