| MIB Not what i was expecting from Merrow. Muscling Through is one of my all time favorite short reads. This book isn't even in the same class. It finished stronger than it started, but still it was just...barely...interesting enough to keep me reading to the end. Or? Maybe I really am getting tired of paranormal anything. Except for BDB and maybe Cat and Bones, I may be done with that genre. So many storyies of humans......m/m and het romance are what turns my crank these days. | |

| I'm still a fan of urban fantasy genre. this is my first introduction to this author, so I have nothing else with which to compare it. overall I'd say it was okay. not much in the way of world building. didn't fall in love with any of the characters, really. It DID get better as it went on... I did end up liking the 2 main characters, though I can't really say as I remember their names. christophe?
I haven't read a lot of m/m.... I look to you all for guidance. I will say this... I by no means hated this book.... just found it sort of meh. I guess the final line about the backpack with sort of cute though.
on the flip side... I loved both josh lanyon and ethan day. so, I look forward to other recommendations.

| Dew...have you read the Cut And Run series? Oh my! The best thing since Adrien English! Let's see....hmmmmmm......have you read Shattered Glass? By Dani Alexander? Dark Horse by Kate Sherwood?........this requires a large supply of tissues. Romano And Albright series by LB Gregg? They are all good......Cut And Run series is about Ty and Zane......THUD! ETA: PsyCop series by Jordan Castillo Price Paranormal and m/m and fantastic! | |

| I'm not sure I'm going to get to this book this month.... running out of time and mixed reviews; although I did like Muscling through.. DEW, I completely agree with every single of Shay's recommendations!! If you want something similar to Ethan Day I would recommend L.B Gregg one of the most hilarious characters I loved. And the Cut and Run series is probably in my all time faves.... but so is PsyCop oh crap forget they are all fantastic!!! Happy !! | |

| I agree with DEW. Don't let me stop you. I have already admitted that I am getting a little burned out on paranormal. Of course, Jordan could cure that fast with a new PsyCop book! | |

| We read nothing but paranormal for years. It's also easy to get burnt out when some of our favorite authors didn't write their best books the past few years. For years I read nothing but mysteries, then for years you couldn't get me to touch a mystery. | |

| Fae--Exactly! Now my taste for mystery has reappeared. Only is there is romance, though. Not necessarily sexy, but I want the romance. I read everything that John Sanford wrote for years and years. Loved Lucas Davenport. I have read a few of his Virgil Flowers books, not many. And Lee Childs! Loved his stuff, and never finished his series. I should go back and figure out where I stopped and pick those back up again. Lots of sex....all off page. | |

| Is this the same as the Woody Allen movie I think under the same name? If so it sounds pretty interesting. | |
