| Looks like another series to check out, but that will have to wait until after PsyCops (which I'll be starting today), River Marked (on it's way in the post at the moment) and Red-Headed Stepchild (which I have from the library).
Just finished Melissa Marr's Darkest Mercy. Good final book to a great series. Not quite up there with Pale Demon, but not far behind in terms of meeting expectations. | |

| I'm sorry to see the series end, I still want to know what the future holds for all the characters! Not to say there wasn't any closure, but I just love this world so much. I love that she's not afraid to go to dark places and have characters that have dark aspects to them, but yet you still care so much about them and what happens to them, and not everything is all dystopian and dark and gloomy. Everything is light and shade. Don't want to say much more until you've read it, though | |

| They are fairly short. Longer than psycops but shorter than a regular novel. Let me see if I can find the word count. | |

| Anyone have any Scottish based series besides Outlander and Highlander suggestions? Historical (fiction or non), romance, adventure, etc. All good...just want some overload before my Scottish trip. | |

| So apparently I am adding Adrienne English to my already overflowing TBR pile as well!!! :D My pimping will be a second for the Jennifer Estep Elemental Assassin series. Also one of my fave series who I know a couple of folks have read but I haven't seen it mentioned yet (I dont think) is Gail Carriger's Parasol protectorate series. Its phenomenal a good mix of historical paranormal romance and steampunk; and it is so funny, I really cant recommend it enough!! http://www.amazon.com/Soulless-ebook/dp/B002NPCJ3G/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&m=AG56TWVU5XWC2&s=digital-text&qid=1299864707&sr=1-1 word of warning DO NOT read the excerpts of the next books after Soulless there are spoilers!!!!! | |
