Nikita was pretty great in this one. She was so worried about Sascha and then she called her and acted all cold again. I think she has feelings for her. It was great to see her stand up to Henry.

Kaleb saved the day!!! He could teleport better than Vasic (who I really want to read about)and he can do lots of other wicked things. I may have met my psycho.

I'm wondering how the Arrows are going to take out Ming. Ming is the swing vote within the council. They really will be split without Ming. My favorite parts of this book were all the Kaleb and Nikita bits.

It actually hurt my heart when she went to dinner with Ruiz. Then his story hurt too. Whew, that was an emotional few minutes. Of course then Hawke is having such a hard time. Indigo's aunt's relationship is sad too. Maybe it's a collective on why this book was making my heart hurt.

I'm glad Hawke got his head out of his ass and realized he could get mated. I would have been upset if Sienna didn't get that. She deserved the real deal, full package, all expenses paid, changing the name mating.

Wouldn't Judd or Walker know if Kaleb had been Toby and Sienna's biological father? I just can't see the comment not being made to Hawke that, by the way, you're now mated to Kaleb's daughter. It's interesting we both thought that, though.

I feel like Judd, 99% sure as to the identity of the Ghost.

There has to be a reason we both thought the same thing. Judd knows who the Ghost is but didn't spill. If it is Kaleb that will be an awesome twist. I never thought about it until this book. If B4V thinks the same thing, there has to be something to it.
