| Title List: The Night Huntress
1. Halfway to the Grave 2. One Foot in the Grave 3. At Grave’s End 4. Destined for an Early Grave 5. This Side of the Grave 6. One Grave at a Time
Title List: Night Huntress World Series
1. First Drop Of Crimson 2. Eternal Kiss Of DarknessHalf-vampire Cat Crawfield and her vampire husband Bones have fought for their lives, as well as for their relationship. But just when they've triumphed over the latest battle, Cat's new and unexpected abilities threaten to upset a long-standing balance... With the mysterious disappearance of vampires, rumors abound that a species war is brewing. A zealot is inciting tensions between the vampires and ghouls, and if these two powerful groups clash, innocent mortals could become collateral damage. Now Cat and Bones are forced to seek help from a dangerous "ally"--the ghoul queen of New Orleans herself. But the price of her assistance may prove more treacherous than even the threat of a supernatural war. ...to say nothing of the repercussions Cat never imagined. WARNINGThis thread will contain MAJOR spoilers, so posters beware. Because of the nature of some of the books, please start to indictae your post using if your post will in fact contain anything spoilerish and include which book your referencing. | I was still borrowing from the library when I read these so I can't do a re-read in time for the new one, but I think they are definitely worth buying for keeps.

| Books 1 and 2 I loved, 3 and 4 meh! Coupled with the Spade and Mencheres let downs - law of averages mean we are due a good one, right? I mean Briggs and Ilona never fail to deliver! |

| Which was the one where it felt like everyone was picking on Cat? And I couldn't quite work out why she 'had' to be changed when Bones had already said she wouldn't need to in one of the early ones. | |

| I didn't like the one with the pervy vamp from Cat's past, McGregor?. I was annoyed most of the book. | |

| I've got a mental stall with these too, fae. I think it's just because it's been so long since we've had a new Cat & Bones book. I'm going to pick up the next one, but I'm not jonesing for it like I am other new releases.
#4 was the 'Everyone Pick on Cat' book. It was good, but I didn't like that she had to change into a vamp in order to get back with Bones.
The story Jeaniene wrote for the Haunted by Your Touch anthology was excellent. I'd pick up more that world in a heartbeat.

| Even with the mental stall I'll be reading the new one. It just won't be the first of the 2/22 books. | |

| I've never had a "Maryland" cookie. There is a "Lady Baltimore" cake though. A "Lord Baltimore" cake too actually. I know Lofthouse cookies are made in Utah. | |

B&N has it available for the 22nd on the Nook. I should check the Cat & Bones.
