Scummy yummies? Interesting characterization. :D Finished Among The Living and have downloaded Criss Cross. Well, the m/m sex didn't skeeve me out too much, and the story and humor were great. On to the next one. If anything, I thought the sex was a bit boring. Men are just sooooo easy. A lifted eye brow and they are caught. I prefer a little more of a chase. The story is entertaining, though.

And the story just gets better. I think the sex might too, but honestly the story was so good that the sex didn't jump out as shocking. And anyway it's Jacob and Vic aka Jactor - love those guys!
Or should that be 'love those gays'??

That was fast! I'm glad the m/m scenes didn't skeeve ya because they only get hawter.

Lol, at guys being easy! Jacob and Vic were all over each other from the start. No playing hard to get, being coy, or taking it slow. Meet, kiss, and then go at it all in one setting. Hello!

I tried to call dibbs on being Vic's hag but faelady beat me to it. I'm next in line if anything happens to her! I love Vic's character, he's so vulnerable and quirky.

I love Vic's vulnerability too. One of my favorite moments of his is in Criss Cross, when he sees the food guide pyramid. So brilliant.

I just started Camp Hell, so I am avoiding some of the posts. Is it just me, or does anyone else think that Jacob loves Vic more than Vic loves Jacob? I will admit that Vic has so many issues that it may not be as obvious from his pov. I am really enjoying these books, and I was a little unsure. The sex doesn't bother me. I may be looking at margarine differently from now on! LOL..... I don't find the m/m sex exciting, at all, and I sometimes think.....hummmmm TMI! The story is terrific. Does this guy have more books? I have grinned a lot a the sideways humor, and laughed out loud fairly often. I would definately be interested in more.

Jordan Castillo Price is actually a woman, and yes, she has written more books.

I found Vic to be very understated. I do think his marching into Rosewood in Secrets said a lot about how he felt about Jacob. I also think the fact Vic repeatedly comments about Jacob making him feel safe meant a lot. For me, the biggest indicator Vic was serious about Jacob was his reduction of recreational drug use. Vic wanted to be there for Jacob. After spending years high, he found a reason to be sober.

And I will never be able to smell margarine again without laughing. How will I be able to explain that to the people who think I'm crazy?

Really? A woman? Are you sure? I wouldn't think any woman could get the m/m sex down on paper. Of course, if you say it's a woman, i believe. I am surprised, though. Did she watch as part of her research? Seems really......real!

That's a dedication to the craft that may be beyond me, 2shay.

http://www.jordancastilloprice.com/

There's a link to her website so you can see what else she has written. I've read both her Channeling Morpheus and Sweet Oblivion series and can tell you they aren't happy. There is also a lot more sex in that series. Hemovore has a UF feel to it and has essentially no sexual detail in it.

If it makes you feel better, I 'll be at work. I won't get it until that evening (at the earliest), and not even for a good cause!
I've been on overtime this week. (Grumble, grumble) I hope that ends next week -- too much good reading coming out.
