Dark Swan

I read first chapter of Storm Born yesterday (while waiting and waiting for dinner) It was really good, gets you hooked straight away! How long till the 3rd one comes out?

That is going to be a busy day - what are you going to read first? I'm thinking the next Dark Swan now, then Cat & Bones and then Pale Demon.

I'm getting Pale Demon and Cat & Bones on kindle, Dark Swan and Darkest Mercy in physical books. So my order will prob be, Pale Demon, Dark Swan if that's arrived in the meantime, otherwise Cat & Bones, Darkest Mercy, then Cat & Bones if I haven't had to bump it up waiting for the other two. Phew, sorted!

It's a girl. I'm at the bit where her sister Jasmine has been captured, Kiyo and the queen have had their baby and Eugenie got shitfaced on tequila (I used to black out on tequila and the next day everyone would be pissed at me and I wouldn't even know why. I don't drink it anymore) and she has gone off to Texas. Dorian grows on me. Can't see things ending well with the Fox Daddy.

God but I just love Dorian!! Loved how he stopped trying to find girls that had eugenies eyes so just sticks with blue! He is way up near the top of my list!

I forgot about that. I may need to flip through this one too. Spend a little extra time on the Dorian bits.

Pale Demon is my #1 for sure. I need my sexy elf fix and fast!!

Oh and I have some killer tequila stories too. I wish I could remember them. :drunken: :o

You black out on tequila too?? Geez I'm like 2 or 3 shots and then nothing! Apparently I once forced my vegetarian friend to eat chicken.

Anyway the book. She made out with Dorian. Slightly unfair as he got her off and then she suddenly got a conscience. Funny that.
Think Iron Crowned might move up my list. If Amazon don't dick me around.

nearly finished. Ergh Leith. Yay Dorian. I love Dorian and I wish that wussy fox would just do one and let Eugenie get on with what she clearly needs to do!!

Now that your done. I was furious with her father. What kind of father does that to his daughter who went through that kind of trauma? A piece of shit father IMO. Disgusting! Now Kiyo, what an asshole. How dare he judge her for wanting her rapist dead. He's always judging and pushing her to do what he thinks is right. I guess I can understand him not wanting to kill him because it didn't fall in line with his morals, but to judge her for it, unforgivable. I love that Dorian just supports, suggests and appreciates her without being a pushover.

Yes absolutely. I cheered when he stabbed that little squitty shit! With the sword she had made for him as well. OMG Kiyo :evil: I was just so pissed at him and after she had tried to be so understanding about the baby thing and he just didn't get her at all! I really think he would fall down on the side of the Willow Queen if it came to it, just like Dorian said. And he just seems to want to control Eugenie and stop her from being what she is - just like Roland. It's not like Roland can be surprised, he has known longer than she has who she was.
Anyway I can't wait for the next one and thanks to the lovely pimp who ensured I read this one

What I loved about that was Dorian's righteous indignation on her behalf. She really needed someone to be angry for her. It certainly wasn't Kiyo. I never forgave him for not explaining about the pregnancy then being angry she wasn't more excited about the baby. How is she supposed to feel about her boyfriend's baby with his ex? He had unrealistic expectations of Eugenie all around. Unrealistic expectations of any woman.

Especially as she can't allow herself to get pregnant. I really felt for her when she got shit faced and then was looking at her belly in the mirror. But Dorian was there for her. Again.

And Dorian did all the work for her on her lands. I wonder what he'll do in the next book.

The mind boggles.

I'm gonna have to do a re-read on this series over the weekend. It's been too long and I've forgotten too many details. Did everyone know that Richelle is pregnant? Due August, so she'll have a lot happening that month with 2 book releases as well!

I am also going to revisit and remind myself of all the sweet dorian bits I hope we get a lot of him with Eugenie in next book.... Which will definitely be my first off the rank on the 22nd

Ya really gotta finish the Kim Harrison series one of these days, Swede I promise, even without someone, they are worth it!

Think Iron Crowned might be my first on 22nd, if it is available for download. Won't be Pale Demon that's for sure, the Kindle price is about three times that of the paperback! Mickey taking much?
