| Dan and Vadim - ALEKSANDR VOINOV - Special Forces"If I told you that I wanted to spend my days and nights with you, live with you, as my partner, because out there, in Hell, I realised that you mean the world to me? That you are my sanity, my laughter, my lust, my love, my comfort, my day and my night, my heat and cold and everything? If I told you that, would you think that translates to 'convenient'?" How about that for a quote? http://www.aleksandrvoinov.com/special-forces.htmllink has free downloads of the books - Soldiers, Mercenaries i & ii, Veterans |

| Oh hell yes we can! Whee!
I am loving this genre, even though it has a tendency to ruin certain foods for me. Margarine and banana nut muffins will never be the same. :D

| A girl on goodreads swears it is the most amazin book - but god it is huge! If you click that link the author has free PDF downloads to the 4 parts which you then "calibre" to suit not sure when I will ever get to it..... But it's in the collection! |

| I got the first two parts. The "director's cut." It's a Russian and an American? A Romeo and Julian kind of thing? | |

| Scottish and Russian I think - further down on that page he has the 4 parts; the ones you have are the newly edited ones I think, as far as he has gone with the editing so far - but the others are the original format . You can only try them I guess - they seem epic LOL |

| FLF--I don't even WANT to un-see it. Too damn funny.
At Pipers Point is now, officially, my favorite Ethan Day novel. Not really as funny as Snow Ho, but much more of a story line. Just loved it. Aside from my earlier post, picture this....7 gay men together in a beach house, all shit-faced drunk. Now, picture the hangovers the next day. Now, picture the main character, Cassidy, listening to country music! Love him!

| No, I meant as a parent, you can't un-see that. I don't EVER want to walk in on my kids having any kind of fun. It's a scary prospect. | |

| FLf--From either side! Most kids have gotten a least an ear full of their parents going at it....disturbing! | |

| Huh, either my post disappeared, or I've accidently replied on the wrong thread! 2shay, is the Ethan Day book that's your favourite At Piper's Point? I'll add it to my amazon wishlist | |

| I finished all of Ethan's books. Some of them are just wonderful. Some are a bit formulaic. Guy meets guy, one guy has issues, issues solved....HEA! But, they are all funny, and if you've ever know any gay men in RL, they are very, very real. So, having had a multitude of gay friends, I get a kick out of his men. I feel like I have known some of them personally. Gay men can be pretty outrageous. And hilarious. He is not stretching one little bit. | |

| Yes. I think I said 'pilots"...duh. At Pipers Point. It has some of the funniest scenes I have ever read, and a really good story line.
b4v--I "lost" some posts until I found out that sometimes the screan doesn't finish loading. You get this mid-screen with lines instead of what we are used to seeing? Do you know what I'm talking about? If you get that mid-screen, you have to hit the "save" button again, or it deletes the post.

That's probably what happened then, 2shay. I had several threads open in different tabs and was probably just too impatient to take notice of what I was doing!
