| I have had Covent since it was released and just can't get into it. I read the first few chapters and it didnt pull me in. Should I give it another try? | |

| Covet isn't the best book out there in my opinion. There are a lot worse ones though. I thought Crave was quite good. There is a lot of worldbuilding in Covet that not only makes it less interesting but is very important for Crave. Evidently one of the characters in Lover Unleashed will have a part in Envy. | |

| They are worth it for the big sexy tattooed, pierced, emotionally messed up, vaguely bi-sexual fallen angels alone. | |

| I think they are worth it. I liked Crave much better. Jim is a good character. It takes about the first 100 pages for Covet to get interesting. But Crave is much, much better, but you can't really skip Covet. I like the series. They aren't the Bros but the worlds and their structure is quite complex and if I know the Warden it will evolve more with each book. | |

| I have only read Covet. It was ok but I haven't rushed out to get Crave, there are just so many on the TBR that it has slipped due to the first one being a bit slow. I'll probably get to it eventually. | |

| I liked them but didn't love them. BDB is like crack once you start. I think Crave was better than Covet. The baddie is very easy to hate.
Mmmm...love those vaguely bi-sexual fallen angels. | |

| I like the FA books just not as much as BDB. I think they have real potential for me to love them as I love well built and intricately detailed worlds. | |

| I love BDB even though they can be heavy on the cheese - there is just something addictive about them. | |

| Agree that Fallen Angels isn't as good as BDB.....Not much is. But, we only get a BDB once a year..or less. Fallen Angels is pretty damn good when the Brothers are on a break. | |

| All the little cameos and tie-ins to the BDB series are fun to find. Covet was ok. Crave was good. I think book 3 (Envy) is going to be the one that hooks me. I do hope Ward tones down her use of slang, it was overboard (even for her) in Crave. I have high hopes. | |

| I think the slang is just as bad in the BDB books. It gets a bit ridiculous. She also has some favorite phrases. | |

| I agree, it never bothered me until Crave though. It was certainly noticable in Lover Mine, but it didn't annoy me as much as in Crave. The repetitive phrase that irked me was "wasn't that just" and "didn't that just". Between that and too much slang, the dialogue seemed forced. And doesn't that just defeat the purpose? | |

| Since it doesn't set anyone shorts on fire I'll put in the TBR pile somewhere down the bottom at this stage. Couple of other series to read yet. | |
